My client is a distributor of janitorial supplies, packaging products, and equipment.  Their business is growing rapidly, and we need a skilled Business Developer to help us acquire new client relationships.  They pride their selves on their core value and want you to love to work for them.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales and an internal drive that continually pushes the organization to be better. In this role, you will be responsible for opening new accounts by working with your own business development coordinator that will help you schedule appointments. The candidate should be a consultative seller and be an expert in asking questions to truly understand a customer’s business while helping manage their business on costs rather than price.

Additional Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager:

  • Prospect for new business
  • Execute at least 10 new face to face appointments a week
  • Manage your pipeline
  • Track business using their CRM
  • Work with your Directors
  • Participate in vendor and sales training


Outside Sales Rep requirements:

  • Strong cold calling skills and networking skills
  • Proven sales success & results minimum of 2 years in a B2B environment
  • Consultative sales style
  • "Hunter" sales mentality- goal driven and self-motivated
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet)
  • Self-disciplined to work independently
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Reliable, insured transportation in most markets
  • Valid state driver’s license
