CNC Engineering Service Manager

A leading manufacturer of manufacturing CNC machinery is hiring for an Engineering Service Manager at their Charlotte headquarters. The Service Manager is the key role in ensuring proper integration of customized machinery into customer sites, top quality products, and optimum customer and team satisfaction.

The CNC Engineering Service Manager will excel with:

  • Leading initiatives to maximize company and customer profits and machinery efficiencies
  • Working closely with the Sales Manager to provide optimal CNC systems to meet customer needs
  • Being the guide to engineering teams for installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs
  • Evaluating input from field service technicians and customer to optimize machinery design and function
  • Ensuring proper communication with service, sales, and upper level executive leadership

The CNC Engineering Service Manager will have:

  • 4+ years of Service Management experience
  • 5+ years experience with servicing CNC machinery
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and FANUC controls
  • Proven experience leading commissioning projects
  • Experience managing and growing a team of service technicians
  • Ability to travel both domestically & internationally (50% on average but 75% to start)

The CNC Engineering Service Manager will be rewarded with:

  • 2% Commission based on service maintenance agreements
